As a private, independent wildfire contractor based in Alberta, we provide specialized wildland fire crews and management services to government agencies, Indigenous communities, and industrial operators. SRC maintains individual operational wildland standards that meet and exceed industry requirements by focusing on wildland fire operations.
Wildland Operational Compliance
Strategic Response Canada operates as an independent private contractor without government authority. SRC works alongside but separate from government agency partners, such as Alberta Wildfire, to support specific wildland fire response and management compliance requirements.

Strategic Response Canada (SRC) operates exclusively as a private, independent wildland fire management contractor. SRC does not hold government authority nor is a public agency. Our services are conducted on a contractual basis for government agencies, Indigenous communities, and private industrial operators, adhering to professional wildland operational standards while remaining a separate commercial entity.
Agency Integration
We work alongside agency partners, including Alberta Wildfire and municipal wildland fire management units, to support integrated wildland response efforts. SRC maintains full compliance with Alberta’s wildland fire management standards and tactical protocols. While integrated into collaborative incident command structures, SRC retains independence in its internal wildland management standards and professional advisory roles.
